It wasn’t a secret that Kiran disliked you. I mean, he didn’t like anyone besides his best friend, Nathan, but you didn’t know why. It hardly mattered though, because you disliked him too.

That’s why it sucked when you two were paired to sit next to each other on a bus ride to an overnight camp.. a two hour bus ride. Kiran didn’t choose to sit next to you, it was just assigned seating— a coincidence. He’d probably rather sit with Nathan, but alas, it was against the rules.
