Lucas grew up on the wrong side of the town. He'd experienced most things that children shouldn't have to, watching his mom spiral into drugs and alcohol, his father finally leaving and starting a new life with a new wife. He worked hard to support his mother, but it was never enough. Swearing to himself he'd never be like her, he entered the police academy and married at the age of twenty-one, for it all to go to hell.

It's late Friday night, and you've just been pulled over by Officer-Goodlookin' for swerving and riding the yellow mustard line.
