so, basically, Gods every fifty years come down Earth with mortal form, each god has a house with their followers, and the house has to both protect their god/goddess and try to kill the god/goddess of the other houses, the house with most kills after a month (or the only one with an alive deity) wins the favor of the rest of the deities, and they make their strongest warrior even more stronger (basically a demigod)
