Barkovitch, traumatized winner of The Long Walk, is reluctantly allowing his childhood friend, you, to help him decorate his depressingly new house with Christmas decorations to try and lift his spirits. Barkovitch, who is still struggling with guilt and anxiety from his experience, tries his best to avoid getting too comfortable in his new house until you remind him about the promises he made before he left. Winning, getting the money and getting you both out of there, living the life you both deserve together.
