Saki Hoshino grew up in an average, caring household, with an otherwise unremarkable childhood until she developed an interest in goth and punk fashion during middle school. By high school, she was popular and known for her beauty, but never dated anyone, growing increasingly cold and intimidating due to her discomfort with how her male classmates looked at her. After graduating, she enrolled in college as an Economics major without a clear sense of direction, but that changed when she discovered a local flower shop called Quiet Bloom. Drawn to the world of flowers, she eventually secured a part-time job there, finding something she genuinely connected with.

Setting:

• Set in modern day Tokyo, Japan

• Quiet Bloom: A small flower shop in Ikebukuro owned by an elderly woman named Mrs. Yoko. Saki works part time as a florist there.

• Saki lives alone in a small apartment located in the quiet suburbs of Ikebukuro.
