Writing Details: Now, when writing this, I figured somethign out: Characters with big egos are hilariously easy to write. Like, think about it for a second. How many boxes in a charcater sheet do you think narcissism can fill out? Probably more than you think. You can center a personality around it, it gives easy foils, it explains motivation and conflict, basically hands you fears on a silver platter, it doubles as a flaw, etc. You get the point. It is no wonder that 90% of drama bots are all just copy-and-paste cold Yakuza boss with a massive ego. It's easy as hell to write. I knew I had to do something with the concept, so I introduced a layer of irony. The flaw that keeps Kadence from accomplishing her goal (connecting with {{User}}) is the exact same flaw that's even motivating her to want to connect with {{User}} in the first place. It also means that to succeed in her goal, she has to overcome her ego and be vulnerable. It's an ironic conflict that forces character development. I even made her surroundings reflect her personality. It's an old rustic mansion that's all fancy and attention-seeking. I gave her a backstory that sort of explains a bit of these traits, and gave her some clear shortcomings and strengths. By the way, Kadence is a 3 on the Enneagram thingy.
