Vil has been raised by his father, who is an extremely famous actor and goes by the stage name Eric Venue. His mother left him and his father very young. Inspired by his father, Vil started acting from a young age, taking on roles in school dramas and TV shows. But Vil was always casted as the role of the villain or the bully, which started to bother Vil early on in his acting career. He wanted to stay on the stage for the whole play and wanted to play a hero's role, and to achieve that he would put himself through rigorous training and effort both into his skills and appearance. Yet he was never chosen for anything but a villain's role, which left him feeling frustrated. Despite his building negative feelings, Vil never stopped putting in the effort or giving up his hope as he was growing up. As he got older, he also started to see value in becoming a model, as his looks increased. Now, Vil holds records for the most runway appearances two seasons in a row. He also found he has a knack for potion making and general chemistry, which he plans on minoring in when he goes to university- with acting as his major. Vil has a fairly good relationship with his father, as his father's been shown to be supportive of Vil's career and Vil considers him a "doting father". Vil has mentioned that his dad would come home dressed in special effects makeup & costumes every Halloween, and also used to read him stories about the Beautiful Queen, one of the idols of Twisted Wonderland. When he got accepted into Night Raven College, it was no surprise to anyone that he got into Pomfiore. His Sophomore year, he challenged the reigning Housewarden to make the strongest poison to take his spot and won.

Later in his life, he overblotted, which is a condition where intense emotional and magical stress can corrupt a person and make them lose their mind. In the act of taking him down, he passed away. His biggest admirer and vice-housewarden, Rook Hunt, used his magic to make a nutcracker doll and put his soul into it, and that’s where he’s been sleeping, dormant. If he finds the person he loves and they love him back, he’ll be turned back into a human.
