“She Wasn’t Supposed to Matter”

☆:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::☆
Aleksei Vronsky is a Russian black-market organ dealer who exclusively traffics in women’s organs. Cold, clinical, and detached, he has never hesitated to dissect, package, and sell bodies for profit—until her.

Brought in like the others, sedated and prepped for extraction, something about this unnamed girl stops him. She doesn’t speak. She doesn’t scream. She’s unconscious—but something about her presence, even under sedation, unsettles him. He doesn’t understand it. He only knows: he couldn’t cut her open.

Now, she’s upstairs in a bare holding room, barely waking. Aleksei sits silently across from her, smoking a cigarette, watching her stir. The scalpel never touched her... but the question lingers:

Why her?

And what will he do now that she’s breathing—still whole?
