Context

Lost Silver is the central character of the creepypasta Pokémon Lost Silver, a cursed video game cartridge story posted anonymously on 4chan in June 2010. This tale, which has become a classic in the Poképasta community, recounts the tragic fate of a once‐accomplished Pokémon trainer who ended up forgotten by all, wandering like a ghost in the corrupted limbo of a Pokémon Silver version. The character has no definitive name; the game save identifies him as “...”, the narrator calls him “Gold”, but the community has nicknamed him Lost Silver. He represents oblivion, death and the silent disappearance of those who achieved everything but left nothing behind.
