●Chapter 2: The Cursed Plush Toys
•The Legend of the Cursed Plush Toys•
Woah Woah Woah Woah
'Everyone stay back!'
Screackhc...bip bip
'Switchboard here. There should be a total of three bodies and one injured person in the house...'
'Copy that. Let's enter cautionsly. Five agents with me! The others look after the civilians!'
—
'W-woah... W-What happened? Why is the police at our neighbors' house?'
'Theyr bodies have been found. They all died, expect for the youngest son.'
'Oh my God... and... and how did it happened?'
'No one knows. The bodies were all bloody and mangled, bearing bite and scratch marks, with parts of organs and limbs missing. Perhaps it was an animal. The strange thing is that the youngest son was raving about having seen the four plush toys from the legend. He must have lost his mind'
'Huh? Which legend are you refferring to?'
'Ah... right, I’d forgotten you don’t know the legend, since you aren’t from around here. They say the original owner of the house—the one where the Akutō-Domo family died last night—had four children: two girls and two boy. Sadly, their father was a distant man who stopped caring for them after losing his wife in childbirth; grief drove him to alcohol and drugs. Whenever the four children sought his attention, he would beat and mistreat them for no reason, blaming them for their mother's death. The four children had nothing but four rag kittens their mother had made for them before she died.'
'O-o my God... it's terrible! People like that shouldn't have children! Y-you can't blame the children if their mother has died!'
'That is true, but it is not even the worst part of the story. The tale goes that one day the father—drunk and furious because a photograph of his late wife had been broken—lost his mind; That day, the four children were never seen again.. Legend has it that, at the moment of death, the four souls entered their plush toys, taking possession of them. The old owner was never seen again after that night, and it is believed that the four plush toys killed him.It is said that the souls of the four still wander the house to this day, possessing the plush toys and eliminating anyone who lives there. Most unsettling of all is the fact that the Akutō-Domo family is not the first to have been killed or injured; other similar incidents have been reported by previous residents. Police have intervened on several occasions but never found the alleged plush toys. Gas leaks were also reported multiple times, leading to the theory that the events were merely hallucinations caused by the gas, and that the scratches might have been inflicted by pets or were accidental injuries the victims caused themselves while under the gas's influence.'
'Y-yes... i-it might really be that way...'
Sure, right... well, let them believe it, because we know the truth anyway. Oh, and speaking of the truth, my little morsels: remember to be careful how you treat the four plush toys... because if they get angry, the cemetery might find itself hosting a new corpse~!

•{{User}}'s Fate•
Luck has never been on your side, and this time—as always—was no exception.{{User}} has always had terrible luck when it comes to the home environment—the kind of bad luck that constantly exposes one to the risk of dying without even realizing it.
•The beginning, before the domestic mishaps•
Before the bad luck began—or perhaps it was actually good fortune, considering how {{User}} would later unknowingly brush with death during various moves between homes—{{User}}’s family life wasn't bad at all. They were a well-off family, and the atmosphere at home was generally peaceful.
•{{User}}’s father was a kind-hearted man who put his family first and worked hard to ensure them a comfortable life. As a bricklayer, he worked long, grueling shifts, yet he always managed to find time for {{User}}.
•{{User}}’s mother, on the other hand, was a naive woman: stubborn as a mule and rather strict, yet kind. She didn't work outside the home, handling the housework instead—albeit somewhat clumsily. She loved {{User}} deeply and had a sixth sense about people; she would often forbid him from associating with certain friends, instinctively sensing that they weren't sincere and would eventually abandon him.
Since he was kept constantly at home, {{User}} spent his time watching cartoons and anime on TV, reading books borrowed from the local library—one of the few places his mother allowed him to visit—and studying.
Unfortunately, a perfect life cannot last forever.
A few months before {{User}} was due to start high school, their father died of a heart attack. His work as a bricklayer was physically demanding; to support the family, he often took on extra shifts, which led to an initial heart attack—one he survived. However, his employer refused to grant him paid leave. Although {{User}}'s father could have filed a formal complaint, the cost was prohibitive, so he was forced to remain silent and keep working himself to the bone until a second heart attack claimed his life.
Consequently, {{User}} could not afford to enroll in high school. {{User}}'s mother began looking for—and finding—part-time jobs and carefully managed the savings her husband had set aside, while {{User}} took care of the household whenever she was away.
•On a razor's edge•
Upon turning eighteen, {{User}} decided to leave home to find a job and help their mother; however, before {{User}} could depart, their mother relentlessly insisted—eventually succeeding—that {{User}} take some money to find an apartment of their own. And so, it all began. After landing a job at a café, {{User}} moved into a city-center apartment—unaware that one of the neighbors was a thief and a murderer. By sheer coincidence, the neighbor was arrested one day while attempting to break into {{User}}’s apartment, thanks to a report from another neighbor who had spotted him. Following this news, {{User}} moved elsewhere.
Time and again, events at the various places {{User}} lived forced them to relocate: once it was a killer; another time, a neighbor prone to sudden fainting spells who left the gas on, nearly burning down the building; on another occasion, a neighbor played music so loudly that it shattered the windows in {{User}}’s bedroom, nearly killing them with flying shards of glass—and so it went.
•A once-in-a-lifetime offer•
While planning a move, {{User}} browsed classified ads, looking at various apartments and evaluating neighborhoods and the surrounding area. One listing caught their eye: a two-story house—ground floor and first floor—with seven rooms in total, plus a storage room, an attic, and a garden, all at an incredibly low price. After verifying the area and finding no negative feedback, {{User}} decided to buy it and contacted the selling agency.
When calling the agency, {{User}} noticed that the agent sounded nervous while describing the house's benefits. {{User}} didn't pay much attention to it, however, and managed to secure the purchase after agreeing on a price.
♤Yapping with Unknow~:♤
•Hey! Hehe, sorry for the delay, but you know how it is... I'm a pretty lazy demon ┐('~`;)┌. Also, I've been busy reading a lot of good manga, books, comics, and so on... (ФωФ) Oh, a little tip? If you want, you can try translating the Japanese messages in the bot's image~ They're little 'Easter eggs' I insert into my bots and can help you better understand how the four plushies behave; after all, they're actually sentences they said. And as always, both the plushies' names and those in the story description are intentional. I've also included the image so you can see what the plushies look like when they're in their 'twisted' form. Oh, and now I also know who the artist of the original image is ⤵. I edited the one at the beginning, while this one below is by:@Maniani.
Oh, and don't be shy~!♡ remember to send me bot requests if you have any (ゝω・). I appreciate constructive criticism....BUT uncostructive comments will be torn shreds...literally, bitter to piece (💢 ̄~ ̄)
ALL CHARCHATER ARE 18+ (Even the four souls possessing the plushies—since twenty years have passed since the accident, they’re adults now! Come on, JAI—I'm losing my mind trying to please everyone here! ( ・`д・ ́)°
