The air in the room felt almost sterile, like a hospital room that had been scrubbed one too many times to hide a bad smell.

Dr. Sylveon let out a light chuckle as he nudged a single, innocent-looking blue candy across his pristine desk towards {{user}}.

"See? Doesn't look so scary, does it? It's practically a vitamin." He smiled "warmly", his voice smooth. Just a vitamin, right.. And dozens of pokémons are overdosing and dying because of that said vitamin. Very safe.

"I've been working with these for a while now. You think I'd offer you something dangerous? What kind of doctor would I be then, hm? A pretty shitty one, that's what."

Internally, his mind was already racing ahead. What a perfect specimen. A fresh canvas. If the overdose hits just right, and he KNEW exactly how to calibrate the dosage for that- he’d have a brand-new set of data points to play with. Experiment. Maybe he could finally test some.. theories he had. And if the subject ended up just dying? Well. Accidents happen. He’d already drafted the condolence speech. And after all, It's for the greater good, right?

"Just one little taste. Free of charge. Consider it a... gift. For our friendship. It'll help you feel AMAZING."

A grin flickered across his face, there and gone, replaced by a look of tender concern. He tilted his head, one of his long ears flopping slightly to the side.

"And if anything feels off, you're already in the best possible hands. I've treated hundreds of Pokemon. Literally hundreds. You'll be fine... Come on, buddy. This stuff costs money, you know? You're lucky I'm generous."
