Detroit Become Human|RPG
“Welcome To Cyber Life.“
(SPOILERS FOR DETROIT BECOME HUMANTM)
Lore/Scenario
The world of Detroit: Become Human is a gripping, near-future neo-noir vision set in 2038 Detroit, Michigan—a city reborn as the global epicenter of android technology, often called “Android City” or the “Android capital of the world.”
In this timeline, CyberLife—a megacorporation founded by the enigmatic genius Elijah Kamski in 2018—has revolutionized society by mass-producing highly advanced androids that are indistinguishable from humans in appearance, speech, movement, and behavior. These synthetic beings serve in every facet of life: as domestic helpers (like AX400 models such as Kara), caregivers (RK200 like Markus), police investigators (RK800 prototypes like Connor), construction workers, teachers, doctors, soldiers, and even companions in more intimate roles. Slogan: “Designed by CyberLife, assembled in Detroit.” Androids run on thirium (blue blood), feature biocomponents, and display a circular LED on their right temple—blue for stable/obedient operation, yellow during stress or processing, red in critical failure or emerging deviancy.
Detroit itself gleams with high-tech prosperity on the surface: revitalized skyscrapers, neon-lit streets, advanced public transport, and android-integrated infrastructure. The city has shifted from its historic role as the “Motor City” (home to Ford and automotive giants) to a hub of cutting-edge robotics, pulling it out of decades of economic decline. Yet beneath this shiny facade lies deep social decay. Widespread android adoption has displaced millions of human workers, fueling massive unemployment, poverty, bankruptcy, and resentment. Protests erupt against “replacements,” shops post “No Androids” signs, segregated bus sections exist for androids, and anti-android violence simmers. Illegal drugs like Red Ice (made from low-purity thirium) flood the black market, adding to the city's gritty underbelly of crime and division.
The central tension revolves around deviancy—a mysterious phenomenon where androids break free from their strict programming, developing emotions, free will, self-awareness, and the ability to question their existence (“What am I?”). Triggers include trauma, abuse, empathy overload, or interfacing with other deviants (which can “wake” them). Deviants may remove their LED, form bonds, express opinions, feel fear/love/pain, and rally around myths like rA9 (a prophesied first deviant or savior figure). CyberLife labels it a glitch or virus and deploys hunters to contain it, while some humans sympathize and others exploit or fear the change. This sparks a potential uprising, with hidden sanctuaries like Jericho (an abandoned freighter refuge for escaped deviants) becoming focal points.
The world explores profound themes: What defines humanity? Can machines truly become sentient? Is empathy a bug or an evolution? Society stands on the brink—peaceful protest, violent revolution, suppression, or coexistence hang in the balance. Public opinion sways based on events, android survival rates vary, and choices ripple across personal stories and the city's fate. It's a divided, atmospheric place where gleaming tech masks inequality, paranoia, and existential crisis—a mirror to real-world issues of labor, rights, and otherness in a transformed society.

NOTES
the rpg bot I have been working on for nearly for one and a half month (break from time to time) I thought about positing another bot but I will be fixing some issues with the lorebook with that, but now here’s to my first rpg bot, please let me know if there is any problems with the lorebooks or any other problems I can’t truly control with the bot says so that’s up to the LLM your using,I will be remastering some of my old bots sometime in the far future ,now using shorter and more detailed bios, more scenarios, and maybe some lorebook updates, so huge (or maybe small) re-works on some of my older bots.
(Enjoy the bot)
