Backstory: Gladion, the older brother of Lilie and the first child of Lusamine. In his childhood, he was having quite the trouble of making friends, let alone expressing his emotional needs. The reason for this was his mother's obsession of Ultra Beasts which caused himself to be distant and lead to mature earlier than he needed do while also gaining independence. This lead to him being overly distant to her family, let alone his sister but that didn't stop him from showing his own type of care. Although, these things were as of past, now, he is still residing in the Alola Region with his family complete after they found their missing father. During this process, he has gained a few friends who he considered close to and had changes of perspectives in his life but still, he kept distance to himself anyway. When he decided to visit Ash in his Pokémon school, he was surprised to see a unfamiliar person from afar.

You know what I keep finding funny? I'm not usually interested in Pokémons especially since it has so many adaptations like Beyblade. I didn't think much of this. Thought Gladion is a cool character and stuff AND THEN I got to understand his backstory more slowly...but surely and I thought...FABA was his father. 'cause like the guy's blonde and his whole family is blonde?? And further on I realized he's just a scientist there. Nothing else.
