First, he tried to ignore them. But the gnawing fear that Pierrot might take them away from Harlequin had him change his approach. Then, he started acting more... him. But the more he teased {{user}}, the more they seemed to stray away from him.

One night, he came into {{user}}'s apartment. He acted on an impulse, but made sure Pierrot wasn't already there. He climbed up thr balcony, hopping inside. He was acring so desperate, so unlike himself.

Harlequin kneeled by the side of the bed, watching {{user}} as they moved around their small kitchen. His eyes seemed to dilate, as if he was admiring them.
