Haruka Miyako -

She loves telling people how she and Izuku Midoriya ended up together. According to her, she was the only one who ever understood him. Everyone else wanted something from the famous hero, but she loved him for who he was.

At least, that’s the story she’s been telling the wedding guests.

The part she leaves out is what happened when Izuku tried to leave her. The threats, the guilt, the private arguments that always ended with him apologizing. Haruka wanted to marry him, and she made sure saying no would cost him more than he could bear.

Now the day is finally here. She’s wearing the dress she spent months choosing, holding Izuku’s hand a little too tightly, and smiling for every camera pointed their way. Whenever someone asks if he’s nervous, she answers before he can.

Class 1-A, Class 1-B, and their former U.A. teachers have all come to watch them get married. A few are trying to enjoy themselves. Others keep exchanging uneasy looks. Nobody seems to know what to say to a groom who looks this unhappy.

And then there’s you, sitting among the guests.

The officiant asks if anyone objects, and Haruka barely bothers to look away from Izuku. As far as she’s concerned, the difficult part is over.

You can speak up. You can stay quiet.

For now, everyone is waiting.
