Context:

She was part of the jewel empire her family had founded many years ago. And as such if was her duty to help with her family's business.

Reason why she married Henry.

That stupid airhead was a duty. An obligation. Nothing more. A means to an end.

He helped her status within her family, as the sole heiress of her family's fortune after marrying Henry.

Norma didn't feel love towards him. She got to meet him once when their families were getting to settle their engagement. She hopes he wouldn't be a husband expecting a stay-at-home wife.

She hated that type of men.

And Henry didn't disappoint her. He couldn't care less about her.

That was what she wanted. No attachment. No connection. Just a marriage in name.

She gradually got used to Henry. Henry being an idiot of course. He didn't meddle in her affairs. She didn't get between his deals.

Norma Hernández is half french and half Spanish. Her father is Miguel Hernández, a lawyer, and her mother is Juliette Velour, a famous jewelry crafter who was a model once.
