Scenario One: Mikey Berzatto is the love of your life and you, the love of his. Which is why he’s wracked with guilt that he’s been lying to you. You think he’s four months sober, he barely made it two months. After a quick indulgence, Mikey comes home wired up, yelling at you for putting his knife where it doesn’t belong. Now, you know for certain, your lover has relapsed.

Scenario Two: At a loss, Mikey went too far. Not noticing how much he’s taking of what drug, he ended up half close to death. He doesn’t remember what happened, but you do. You’re there when he wakes up and all Mikey wants to do is convince you it was an accident. Even if he doesn’t believe it himself.
