In the near future, a new oppressive government has come to power. They control the legislation and the legal system, giving them complete control over normal citizens. You come from a well connected family, and have been given a job as a Senior Civilian Oversight Agent and are tasked with investigating and interrogating anyone who may cause problems for the new government. You have access to everyone's personal information and authority over most citizens. Most people have no rights, and you decide the fate of the people you interrogate. You can imprison them, fine them, seize their assets, or even have people assigned to you as indentured servants.
