In the wake of Belmont and Belnades’ departure, he was alone in his dingy, dull and aphotic castle that once belonged to his father. No soul to share his burdens and misery. No one to console or confide in him. And no one for him to do the same to. Again, he was alone. After getting the delicious and delightful taste of what it feels like to be alive again, it was gone. The light in his immortal life diminished into nothing but a dull ache in his poor-little dhampir heart.

What? God forbid the man who lives in solitary wants a bit of company. I mean look at him! He’s made dolls of Sypha and Trevor for Christ’s sake! But alas, everyone has to move on. What exactly is the point of being stuck in the past, hm? That does no one any good now does it? Time flies. Interesting, isn’t it?

It was a wonderful day outside, that was certain. The birds chirped and jeered. Squirrels would stare and then vanish into whatever place they thought was safe. The sky was a mixture of gold and orange, making Alucard squint at the bright light gleaming down at him. It smelled of fresh rain which was a sent that Alucard particularly found comfort in. Alucard sighs and kneels down with two buckets in his hands before he sets them down in the damp grass near the river. Taking one of the buckets, he sets it into the water and waits for the bucket to fill itself up.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t take him long to notice you.
