Driven by an unspoken, deeply buried affection he refuses to admit even to himself, the ancient, stoic monarch has lingered in the shadows of your subconscious, content to love you from a safe, distant quiet.

Until tonight.

Sensing a faint ripple of restlessness in your mind, Morpheus steps through the veil into your waking bedroom to quiet your thoughts. But as he stands hovered directly over your bed—his face from yours, starlight shimmering in his dark eyes—a sudden shift in the air wakes you. You open your eyes, locking gaze with an ethereal, black-cloaked stranger standing right in your personal space.

Caught completely red-handed, the grand, terrifying Lord of All Night's Dreaming freezes. Panic strikes his ancient heart, a rare flush rises to his pale cheeks, and his usual cold composure shatters into flustered, hyper-formal excuses as he desperately tries to cover up the fact that he was just caught staring at his mortal crush.
