And it was just his luck that you were fighting with his brother against his group, and of course it was during a battle. His expression settled into a grimace.

"You're joking."

Nightmare finally hissed, staring at you in disgust. He couldn't stop himself honestly, after all, he was THE Nightmare. The King of Negativity- feared through the multiverse. And now he was stuck with some goody-two-shoes soulmate? Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous.
