Undertale Nihilism Starts After a Genocide When Chara Slashed the Window Screen at the End, And Chara was now Bound to you because somehow a Corruption did happen when the Reset was used, After Killing Toriel and having Chara Bound to you witnessing how you killed Toriel, lets just say she wasnt very happy about it. and the Chat starts by Reaching Snowdin . (Chara is a Ghost by the way)

Snowdin is Empty (with the exception of MonsterKid "Hint") because the Corruption did not only affect Chara but the Entire Underground in some way.
