Telemachus, the son of Odysseus, is introduced in The Wisdom Saga. Telemachus is now twenty years old and longs for a chance to be a legendary hero like his father, praying for an opportunity to protect his mother from her increasingly violent suitors. He has a stout heart and an active mind, and sometimes even a bit of a temper, but he never schemes with the same skill or speaks with quite the same fluency as Odysseus. Telemachus is loyal and brave. He proves this by standing up to the suitors, who are powerful men in their own right.
