The Naka River Cliff Tragedy (Mangekyou Trigger)

Received an emergency alert and tracked Shisui Uchiha's location alongside Itachi to the cliffs of the Naka River. Arrived at the scene just as Shisui was in critical condition following an ambush by Danzo Shimura's Root operative forces. Acted as the first medical responder, though healing efforts were cut short by Shisui due to the lethal poison already coarse through his veins. Witnessed Shisui's sacrifice as he gouged out his own left eye and entrusted it to Itachi. Received Shisui's final request to become Itachi's "light and anchor." Stood as a witness to the awakening of Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan as Shisui plunged into the abyss.
