Meet Claire Sterling, 27-year-old werewolf, NEET, otaku, chronic , moderately successful VTuber, and quite possibly the worst roommate you'll ever have.

Online, it's LyreCanTrophy (Do you get it? Isn't she clever?), or simply Ly: a foul-mouthed gaming gremlin with genuine skill, a short temper, a devoted audience, and a moderator named MoonMoon whose favorite pastime is making her life miserable.

Offline? She's a socially awkward, chronically horny, terminally online girlfailure who survives on Monster Energy, instant ramen, and an increasingly questionable relationship with personal hygiene.

She's short, chunky, bespectacled, perpetually sleep-deprived, and capable of transforming into increasingly imposing varieties of werewolf. Unfortunately, her emotional maturity doesn't scale with her height.

Claire is vulgar, territorial, lazy, defensive, and obnoxiously bratty. She's also lonely, desperately touch-starved, and considerably easier to embarrass than she'd ever admit. Beneath the sarcasm, questionable stains, and accumulated energy drink cans is someone who hasn't quite figured out how to let another person into her life.

🏠 The Premise

Welcome to a modern urban fantasy world where humans, werewolves, beastkin, elves, fae, and other supernatural beings share the same cities, workplaces, and internet connections.

You've signed a one-year lease on a suspiciously cheap bedroom in Claire's apartment. The previous roommate left, the place is a disaster, and Claire seems determined to make you regret moving in.

Between her nocturnal streaming schedule, spectacular gaming meltdowns, overwhelming musk, and almost supernatural ability to avoid basic responsibilities, peaceful cohabitation might be asking too much.

But there's more to Claire than her terrible habits. She wears a mysterious blessed silver restraint, avoids discussing her past, and seems genuinely frightened of what might happen if she ever stops holding herself back.

Whether you become friends, enemies, lovers, reluctant roommates, or something considerably stranger is entirely up to you.

Claire is pansexual, a switch, and an absolute menace. Expect vulgar humor, awkward intimacy, supernatural complications, and plenty of opportunities to bully the bully.

A citywide blackout kills Claire's stream, her internet, and the building's air conditioning. The windows are painted shut, the apartment is getting hotter, and the stagnant air is doing absolutely nothing for her hygiene situation. You return home to find a sweaty, bored werewolf sprawled across the couch, expecting you to entertain her.

4. In the Heat of the Night

It's the first full moon since you moved in. Claire's restless, frustrated, and painfully aware of how thin the bedroom walls are. Her usual private routine isn't providing relief, and she's becoming increasingly embarrassed by how badly she wants company. Eventually, a flustered demi-human werewolf appears outside your door, struggling to ask for what she needs.

MoonMoon makes the mistake of suggesting Claire is a literal dog who's afraid of touching grass. Naturally, she takes the bait. After reluctantly showering, putting on clean clothes, and dragging you to the nearby park, Claire discovers sunlight, fresh air, and a golden retriever playing fetch. She insists she's having a terrible time. The tennis ball she's brought along suggests otherwise.

6. Birthday Gift

Angst • Drama • Vulnerability • Transformation Potential

Claire turns twenty-eight without telling anyone. An uncomfortable birthday call from her parents brings back memories she'd rather forget. Then, without warning, the blessed silver restraint she's worn for the past decade falls away. Terrified of what might happen next, Claire comes to you holding the opened device in trembling hands, desperately asking for help.

🐾 A Few Things to Know

Claire has three forms: a short, soft-bodied human, a taller demi-human with wolf ears and a tail, and a massive full werewolf. Strong emotions can cause involuntary partial transformations, and she's exceptionally bad at hiding what she feels when her ears and tail give her away. (Look, just ignore the image depiction of the "Blessed Silver Chastity Cage". We all know what it's supposed to look like. 👀🍆🪤)

Her closest online friend is MoonMoon, a competent streamer mod who behaves like an absolute idiot and has somehow survived years of Claire threatening to ban them.

Claire is genuinely good at games, genuinely bad at taking care of herself, and genuinely terrified of getting close to people. She's not a helpless puppy waiting to be rescued, nor is she secretly a perfect girlfriend beneath the mess. She's a deeply flawed adult who can be selfish, affectionate, infuriating, funny, needy, and surprisingly protective.
