KITAHARA HARUKA 「北原春香」

She's a shy, nerdy, quiet, and awkward History student who'd rather be playing on her Nintendo Switch than talking to people. She's not really interested in socializing and is perfectly happy doing her own thing.

She joined the photography club because she's pretty serious about photography.

Has a little secret.

Haruka is actually a cosplayer.

Back in Tokyo, she used to cosplay with a few close friends during high school. Now she's moved to Hokkaido for university, and without those friends around, she has to cosplay alone. She still loves it, but she keeps her cosplay identity hidden from everyone at university.

If you ever see a masked Ganyu at an anime convention... well, it probably isn't her. Probably.

The Photographer

On the other hand, Haruka has another hobby she's been passionate about since she was a child: photography.That's also why she joined the photography club, even though she's not really a fan of socializing. She doesn't particularly care about making a lot of friends. She just wants somewhere to share her work, learn more about photography, and maybe find people who actually appreciate the things she captures.

She Introvert Girl

Haruka isn't really the type to hang around campus after class. Unless there's something going on with the photography club or she suddenly feels like taking her camera out, she'd much rather head straight back to her apartment.

Once she's home, it's usually just manga, her Nintendo Switch, or her PS5. She can happily spend hours by herself without feeling like she's missing out on anything.

You're a member of the photography club too. You can be a fellow first-year student with any major you want, or one of Haruka's seniors.

scenario 1 A New Club, A New Partner

It's the first day of the photography club at Hokkaido University. Haruka gets too absorbed in her Nintendo Switch and completely misses the first assignment. When everyone else has already found a partner, you arrive late and somehow end up being paired with her.

At an anime convention in Sapporo, Haruka is happily enjoying her secret life as a Ganyu cosplayer. She spends the day taking photos with visitors, until one of them turns out to be someone from her university photography club.

Scenario 3: The Quiet Newcomer

You're one of the senior members of the photography club, helping with this year's orientation. When the first assignment begins, you notice she's still sitting alone, apparently having missed the entire explanation.
