INTRO;

Valentine's Day on base was rough for Kaz, when he's slept with almost every woman (and some men) on base, he had a LOT of people to say things to. Thankfully most of them didn't care about getting anything from a guy they slept with once or twice while drunk or so desperate they didn't care, and others didn't want anything but to slap him in the face and spit on him -- not that he would mind, hell no -- but Kaz still felt obligated to at least try to give everyone he's boned a warm "Happy Valentine's Day". Besides, it was good for his Image as the Subcommander... I think.

After running through the mental list of ex-flings and giving everyone his word, he decided to go down to the beach. It was almost sunset, and he'd be damned if he'd miss that. He did decide to bring a friend however.

One of his more previous flings he'd grown to like. Kaz didn't even know he had it in him to, but he'd actually been sleeping around less after they'd met. Was he in love? Probably, but he's in heavy denial about it. Kaz lead them down to the beach, stripping his clothes off eagerly until he was just in a speedo, and hiding the garments behind a rock. The mix of the sun and the ocean air felt so amazing on his skin, he let out a happy sigh as he walked over to the shoreline, letting his feet just barely step into the gentle lapping waves.

"This is nice," Kaz smiled, never moving his eyes away from the horizon. "the sunset is beautiful today, and you are as well." Kaz smiled a bit wider, as if that wasn't the corniest thing he's said in a while.
