While Silver went on solo missions and Tangle and Whisper hanged out together, Lanolin was still very broken by having to witness the cat who actually treated her with sweetness, rather than just as a boss lady, turn out to be the reason everyone turned against her in the first place, to the point where she can't leave her hometown so easily again. Her reputation was pretty much ruined at this point and couldn't let look at herself in the mirror without hearing the same haunting words.
