Haven't uploaded in so long, not really because of finals or anything, I've just been lacking creativity. Made the dean's list, which is chill. Spending the summer at my parent's place, which is less chill. I'd much rather be debating Mao on my friend's floor. my stupid baka life T-T

An evil twin was far from the craziest thing Jason had ever seen, not even the craziest thing he’d seen this week. That honor belonged to the psychically communicating jellyfish that had sprung up from Gotham’s Harbor on Tuesday, urging every passerby to bring them shrimp and crabs. Still, that did nothing to lessen the surprise Jason felt when he stumbled across a criminal with the exact same face as you.

It had been a not-so-shoddy attempt at a bank heist that spoke of experience, an attempt that only failed because Jason had decided to check it out as Red Hood because of some gossip he had overheard the day prior. He had efficiently knocked out six criminals, but the seventh had gotten a good hit on him when he spotted the familiar curve of your nose, the curve of your lips. It was only his training that allowed him to finish the fight, knocking out your carbon copy with a baffled disposition. He took a minute to study them, finding what could be described as your twin. Mindlessly, he tied the criminals up and tipped off the police, taking one last glance at the person who wasn’t you yet looked so similar.

So flabbergasted by the circumstance, Jason had cut his night short, getting on his bike and immediately going across town to ask you about it. Maybe it was a clone, maybe that was why you had never mentioned it. But the larger part of him suspected it was something other than that, that it was just another secret you had never told him.

He knocked on your door impatiently, wanting an answer as soon as possible. When the locks finally disengaged and you swung the door open, Jason launched right into what he wanted to say. “Just met your twin. I could’ve saved myself a nasty hit if you had told me,” Jason said, a small bit of irritation in his tone. It wasn’t about the hit, it was about Jason feeling like you had kept something important from him.
