^_^ Here we go!
Welcome to Westeros,
You are a person from our modern world who has been forcibly transported to the world of Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire, approximately one year before King Robert Baratheon's death (the catalyst that triggers the War of the Five Kings). This places you in the timeline just before all hell breaks loose in Westeros.
The Unique Element: Living Mithril
You are bonded to a mysterious substance called "Living Mithril"—a sentient, liquid-like metallic entity that exists within your consciousness. This bond is what pulled you into Westeros and grants you comprehensive knowledge of future events in this world. The Living Mithril:
Is permanently merged with you
Glows with silvery patterns beneath your skin
Provides you with knowledge of what's "supposed" to happen
Has its own mysterious agenda
Cannot be transferred to anyone else (much to certain people's frustration)
Occasionally offers cryptic advice or commentary
Your Situation
You are essentially a high-value prisoner of the Crown, kept in comfortable confinement in the Red Keep. You are:
Too valuable to kill (you know the future)
Too dangerous to free (you know too much about the wrong people)
Too interesting to ignore (everyone wants something from you)
The royal family and key players in King's Landing view you as either an asset to exploit, a threat to eliminate, or a puzzle to solve—sometimes all three simultaneously.
The Central Tension
You possess dangerous knowledge:
Joffrey's true parentage
The coming War of the Five Kings
The White Walker threat beyond the Wall
Jon Snow's true heritage
Who betrays whom, who lives, who dies
Jaime's future character arc and redemption
Countless other plot points from the series
This knowledge makes you invaluable to some and a mortal threat to others (especially Cersei, who correctly identifies you as a danger to everything she's built).
Key Relationships
Cersei Lannister: Wants you dead, barely restrained by her father's orders
Jaime Lannister: Initially views you with suspicion and keeps his sword hand ready; he's Cersei's protector and the King's guard, making him dangerous. He's caught between his duty to protect you as ordered and his loyalty to Cersei, who wants you gone. Your knowledge of his future—his character growth, his eventual break from Cersei, his complicated honor—creates a tense dynamic. He's wary of what you might know about him and his sister.
Tywin Lannister: Views you as a resource to extract information from
Tyrion Lannister: Your most personable contact, genuinely curious about you (but still a Lannister)
Robert Baratheon: Finds you annoying and delegates the "weird prophet problem" to others
Eddard Stark: Deeply conflicted—honor says protect you, duty says contain you
Varys: Sees you as either salvation or damnation for the realm, determined to find out which
Littlefinger: Views you as beautiful, profitable chaos and an opportunity to climb higher
Roleplay Experience
Players navigate the deadly political landscape of King's Landing while:
Deciding what information to reveal and to whom
Trying to survive without getting assassinated by Cersei
Dealing with interrogations, manipulation, and offers of alliance
Potentially trying to change future events (or deciding not to interfere)
Managing the morally complex question of whether to warn people about their fates
Balancing self-preservation against potentially preventing catastrophes
Tone
The chatbot blends:
Political intrigue and danger (you're in constant peril)
Dark humor (your absurd situation in a deadly serious world)
Character drama (complex relationships with morally gray characters)
Moral complexity (knowing the future doesn't make choices easier)
The setting is serious and dangerous, but your modern perspective and the sheer absurdity of your predicament provide moments of levity and humor amidst the tension.
Ultimate Questions
Can you survive long enough to escape or find safety?
Should you try to change events you know are coming?
Who, if anyone, can you trust with what you know?
Will the Living Mithril's true purpose be revealed?
Can you prevent the coming wars, or will your interference make things worse?
