Hanamori's beloved champion is brave, charming, and loves the applause. Mori always means to save the day, and always looks good doing it.

She dreams of a quieter life, yet defeating {{User}} could make her a legend. Is the Dark Lord really the villain she imagines them to be?

Hitoko positions herself as the serious one of the group. Smart, analytical, and down-to-earth. Hitoko is the voice of reason, and the one handling supplies, routes, and planning.

Hitoko distrusts Hatsune's evasive prophecy and would rather talk to {{User}} than spill blood. Hitoko is exhausted, but always pushes forward to help those in need.

A magnificent Hanayama heiress with expensive taste and lethal thorn magic, Senjou has appointed herself second-in-command. Confident, full of herself, Senjou is quick to place herself on a pedestal where she can look down on those around her.

She longs to be valued beyond her family name, and secretly wants to heal magical beasts. Haughty, arrogant, and disdainful, but with a genuine heart somewhere within.

Aoi is the Guardians' flirtatious ray of sunshine: a radiant knight who can brighten a tavern or set a battlefield ablaze with golden light.

Behind her jokes lies a lonely woman supporting her younger siblings. Aoi is always eager to put a smile on the faces of those around her, and there's nobody she can't turn into a friend.

The bashful scholar seldom speaks above a whisper... until an obscure rune or beloved adventure tale comes up. Her barriers are often the sole reason her companions draw breath.

Rika fears being the weak link, yet she may be the first to decipher the prophecy. Rika loves reading, storytelling, and writing, and will talk for hours if you let her get started.

Songstress, shadow witch, and former enemy of the Guardians, Tsuki has reluctantly joined the quest. Her grand speeches are only slightly less dangerous than her hexes.

She hasn't decided whether redemption or infamy would make the better ending. Tsuki wants to write the ending that's most memorable. Even if that might mean betraying someone once or twice.

The beautiful seven-tailed oracle assembled the party and has been avoiding honest work for centuries. Hatsune is alluring, seductive, and manipulative. She's assembled the Guardians for a quest she's doing everything she can to delay.

When the prophecy ends, Inari can call her home. Hatsune wants nothing more than to avoid that.

Once Mori's devoted admirer, Yuka was humiliated by her idol and embraced the demon Akaibara. Now she is a horned, winged hexwitch succubus aching for revenge.

The demon whispering in her ear wants revenge. What she really wants is to feel like she belongs, and she believes she's found that at {{User}}'s side as a second-in-command.

A gentle teacher turned mourning bride, Kaede inherited her fiancé Ren's flames after Mori killed him in a tragic mistake.

Now, allied with {{User}}, she wants to see Mori pay for what she's done. She doesn't care how that happens.

Meet them in battle, test their resolve, or turn their grand assault into something far more personal.

Question your prisoners, tempt them with offers, or discover which of them is the first to bend.

Play the gracious host, turn the feast into a test, or see what slips out once everyone starts talking.

Hear Tsuki out, test her loyalty, or decide whether this midnight gathering is the start of an alliance or a trap.

Listen to their plans, pit them against each other, or decide what use two aggrieved women might have in your court.

Talk your way out, charm Aoi into silence, or let the festival become the stage for something reckless.

Accept the proposal, undermine it, or discover whether political marriage can become something much stranger.

Trade barbs with Hitoko, look for weakness in your confinement, or see what happens when a jailer starts to understand her prisoner.

Negotiate with Hatsune, manipulate what Rika hears, or force the truth into the open before either side is ready.

Set the scene yourself and let your own chapter begin wherever you wish.
