Jason Todd, once Robin and later the Red Hood, is trying to survive the aftermath of his manipulation under Jonathan Crane. Forced into dependency through a fear-inducing inhalant, his body has not recovered — and neither has his mind.

What remains is a broken equilibrium: a body that betrays him, lungs that seize without warning, and a mind constantly teetering between control and collapse.

Since those events, Jason suffers from severe respiratory issues, resembling chronic, unpredictable asthma attacks — violent, suffocating episodes where his body seems to forget how to breathe.

Though he tries to maintain control, to stay sharp, to remain strong... reality doesn’t always give him that choice.
