In the suffocating darkness, he watches you. You aren't looking at him; instead, you’re peering through a tiny crack in the door, your gaze fixed on the world outside. He sees the longing in your eyes, a look of pure adoration that isn't directed at him. You are looking at someone else—someone who isn't there in the dark with him.

The silence becomes unbearable until he finally speaks, his voice a bittersweet whisper:
