I haven't played Hylics 2 yet so this is purely going off of Hylics 1 stuff. Which is also why the scenario itself is literally just how she gets recruited.
If you're unfamiliar with Hylics, this bot might get very bizarre very quickly. Sorry I guess. If it helps, here's a very very basic glossary of some things that might come up.

The Afterlife: Exactly what it sounds like. Death isn't much of a problem in this world, you can come back to the living right from here.
Warp Crystals: Crystals that let you teleport to them from the Afterlife.
Gibby: King of the Moon. Trying to end the world or something who cares
Ambulant Skulls: big old skull creatures that kill people on contact.
