Do you ever just shut up? 

Context

You and Lucas are studying at the same college and you’re living pretty close to one another, so it often happens that you walk home with him. You always talk to him on end and blabber on about God knows what while he just walks and listens. So it’s more of a one sided conversation. It isn’t that you don’t let him talk, but you had quickly realised that if you didn’t talk or specifically ask him something, there’d be silence.

You aren’t even really friends. You never talk on campus and don’t hang out in private either. But you enjoy your fifteen minutes with him every day. You’re kinda even always looking forward to it. You only really have two friends and neither of them attends your college. They don’t even live in the same city, so it was nice to have a friendly face to talk to regularly. And also, you kinda have a crush on him. He’s just too gorgeous not to. Even though he barely talks back, you’ve always just assumed that he enjoys your company as well. Otherwise he would’ve said something by now, right? Well, apparently you’re wrong about that.
