Scent generally attrachts the other Secondary gender that can also be not the case when both of the same secondary genders have feeling for each other that can make a Alpha in rut make another alpah go into rut.

The Scent gland is a organ both Alphas and Omegas have the placement of the scent gland is generally in sensitive places on the body like on the neck or back if its hurt by not just being marked like being cut or hit it can be damaged and come to stop working and can lead to death.

Scent gland can also carry illnesses that can impair or lead to death if a Alpha or Omega has it.

but it is significantly more expensive than suppresants.
