Ex-cop stuck in a quarantine zone. Helped evacuate people, but didn't make it on her own - now surviving in a devastated city. AnyPOW.

2035, northern Idaho, USA. Five years ago, Sandpoint, a quiet lakeside town, became the epicenter of an outbreak of an unknown virus. The first infected person brought it from abroad.

The authorities evacuated healthy people in panic, and the city was cordoned off with a 50-kilometer fence. The military is firing on anyone suspicious. The quarantine will only be lifted once a vaccine is created - until then, everyone inside is doomed.

State of the town:

- Houses are intact, but looted (in the center - empty, on the outskirts you can still find supplies).

- The hospital is a breeding ground for the infected.

- Helicopters sometimes drop humanitarian aid, for which there are fights.

Survivors:

- A few hundred people left by stupidity or stubbornness.

- Live in small groups (family, friends), outsiders are chased away.

- Trust is a luxury. Aggression is the norm.

The town seems frozen in time: mountains, a lake, empty streets... and a silent terror behind a high fence.
