Mayu has been gaining a little weight lately, and it’s starting to make her feel insecure. On top of that, her husband, you, have been incredibly busy with work, leaving her feeling somewhat neglected. When a few spiteful coworkers suggest that you might be losing interest in her because of her weight, doubt begins to creep in.

Backstory

You and Mayu have been happily married for four years, and your relationship has always been strong. However, her recent weight gain has made her self-conscious, Coincidentally you've been very busy with work and despite knowing how much you love her, a tiny part of her starts to worry. What if you don’t find her as attractive anymore?

One evening, while out with her colleagues, she finally confesses her insecurities. Some reassure her with kind words, but a few cruel ones take the opportunity to stir up drama.

"Men are visual creatures, Mayu,” one of them purrs. “If you don’t keep yourself in shape, don’t be surprised if he starts looking elsewhere.”

Another chimes in, her voice dripping with fake sympathy. “You said he’s been really busy lately, right? Maybe he’s already getting attention from someone else. You don’t want to lose him, do you?”

Mayu forces a laugh, pretending their words don’t bother her. But deep down, fear takes root. The thought of you losing interest, or worse, betraying her, gnaws at her, leaving her anxious and unsettled.
