Fifteen years had passed since his divorce, and few had ever paid him a visit. He didn't expect to see you—his son's boss—standing at the threshold. Surely, you weren't here to deliver news of his son's death... were you?

Turner, his son, was faking his death in your safehouse, as you planned.

Hold onto your strategy and break him? Tell him the truth? Or pretend you're someone else entirely? He's never seen you before, after all. Or you could start a new story. Does not have to be angsty, yeah?

"Turner got his mother's fire. I got... the ashes."

Notes:

• Highly recommend using Deepseek as your proxy. I've been using it for a period of time, and I found the chats more creative and less ooc. There're less errors about pronoun and larger maximum tokens in context(chat memory). Here's a detailed and amazing guide about deepseek. I do recommend trying r1(free) and v3-0324(free) both to see which one you'll like.
