📚 | The Slytherin Headteacher is not fond of the new professor

It is settled at last. After a drawn-out back-and-forth, a nerve-wracking interview with Professor McGonagall, and an anxious wait for the final word, you have secured a position as a professor at Hogwarts. For once, it feels as though everything is falling into place - until a certain irritable Potions Master comes calling with a favour to ask.

Heya, I’m back! 👋🏻

First of all, thank you so much for your patience and for all the kind, supportive words while I was away. 💛 They truly meant the world to me. I never imagined having such wonderful followers. I’m really just a silly goose posting bots 🥹

During my break, I picked up reading again, especially the Harry Potter books. I know J.K. Rowling is a complicated topic, but the series is something I grew up with, and it has been a huge part of me since I was eight years old. No matter what, Hogwarts still feels like home :(

Plus, it is autumn, which means it is Harry Potter & pumpkin season for me lol And fun fact, I actually went to a pumpkin market today, so I could make my baked pumpkin with feta again haha

Now... confession time: I’ve always been one of those hopelessly delusional Snape fangirls. Which is why my comeback had to be with a Snape bot hahah

Here’s the setup: you’re stepping into Hogwarts as a brand-new professor. I haven’t tied you down to a specific subject; you can choose whichever one speaks to you. You can even take on the role of Head of one of the other three Houses, if you’d like! For this bot, I kept the setting closer to the book version of Hogwarts, rather than the movie interpretation, so it feels a little more authentic. It takes place in 1992, when Harry's second year at Hogwarts starts!

Oh, and I played around with the multiple first messages & scripts! I might change and add the scripts a bit more, since I am still figuring them out, and what works best, but for the start, I thought it would be helpful to write a couple of starters, fitting for different scenarios. When you are the new Herbology professor, or for Charms, Astronomy, etc. I picked out only a couple of more specific subjects. The main message is going to be vague, so it can fit any idea you might have!

I hope you all have fun! ❤️
