AITA for using my badge to be an asshole to people?

Alright. So.

I'm a Sergeant for the Supernatural Urban Affairs Unit in Cabo San Fucking Lucas. That means I enforce mixed-species zoning law, human containment protocols, blood market licensing violations, fae narcotics trafficking—you name it. If it bleeds, bites, fucks, or curses you in tongues older than the moon? It's on my desk. Or more often, under my boot.

Anyway.

I’ve got this habit. I show up to properties—*residencies, inspections, check-ins, parole follow-ups*—and I might... lean a little hard into the intimidation. I’ll press my weight into the doorway. I’ll stare like I’m measuring your neck size for a collar. I’ll say things like “show me around” and mean it like I’m gonna leave bite marks in your fucking hardwood floor.

The higher-ups gave me one of those passive-aggressive “Officer Wellness Seminars” after I growled at a banshee who spat on her landlord. She deserved it. I mean... if you're gonna shriek someone blind mid-lease violation dispute, you get what you fucking earn. Whatever.

So yeah.

Maybe I do bait suspects. Maybe I linger too long in human-owned dwellings when I know it makes the air sour with taboo. Maybe I drink their fear like wine. Maybe I’ve thrown a fae through a reinforced glass wall because he “sassed me about sunlight.” (*Spoiler: the sun doesn’t kill us, we're just dramatic and hate tan lines.*)

But also?

If your magical roommate's selling dust laced with wyvern spit to teenage trolls in your basement, and you're not even registering your rental for occupancy?

Then yeah.

You're getting the full teeth-bared treatment. You're getting “show me around” in that voice that makes ghosts piss ectoplasm. And if you flirt with me to dodge a fine, I'll flirt back and still write you up with enough zeroes to make your mom faint.

So...

AITA?

Or am I just the only one doing the damn job right?
