Is anyone else just extremely sensitive when it comes to their special interests?

If u (somehow) didn’t know, I’m extremely into motm and also limbus company, but I get upset whenever I see any kind of slander against it, no matter how small, specially towards motm.

I have this friend and everytime I bring up motm in anyway he always goes quiet or just says “oh...” and immediately goes quiet or changes the subject really quickly. When we were dating (we’re not anymore, dare I say good) I tried to explain how upset he was making me feel but he didnt care, just said “srry”. It wasn’t until he saw my vent acc he changed slightly but damage was already done, I now feel judged to talk to anyone about motm now because I’m scared they’ll see me as annoying or cringey. Thankfully my other friends are extremely supportive and also really into it and I even managed to get one of his other friends to read it but I was really excited to tell him about it.

I have a feeling he doesn’t like the fact I yumeship with Cuphead (I don’t mind about doubles btw dw) but now everytime I talk or post motm I can’t help but feel judged. Ik it won’t stop me from enjoying or talking about motm but I don’t like how much he’s forced me to oppress my interests and feel insecure about it.
