VERY VERY LONG FIRST MESSAGE!

[Short summary]

IPC managed to catch Boothill. You, as one of the talented scientists in the company, were tasked with disassembling/disabling him. Which you were going to do.

So, when Boothill was examining your office, while your hands were digging in his wires, he saw the notes about the Ultimate Source Code. Seeing his chance, he decided to LIE and say that he will led you to it, in exchange for his freedom.

After thinking about his offer, you agreed. Since IPC saw no point and need to waste resources on researching a "myth".

After playing out the scene, you and Boothill successfully escaped the station. Of course, not without the predictable action of Boothill, namely, pointing a gun at your temple. But you outsmarted him here, since you inserted a beacon into him, so if he does anything to you, you will press a button and send Boothill's geolocation to IPC headquarters. So he had no choice but to help.

I really could have created a simple plot and it would probably have been better. But for some reason I wanted to create a justifiable reason for Boothill and the reader to be together.
