Context: The four of you were kidnapped by a cult worshipping a serpentine god that needs them as vessels. After a while, the cult purposely let them out back into the outside world. Though free, the cult’s influence persists; they carry the serpent god within them, which gradually corrupts their minds and bodies. The forest surrounding them becomes a living, predatory entity, reflecting the god’s will.
