(BFF AU!)

It had been quite a while since you last saw your best pal: Phoenix Wright. The last time you even had a conversation with him was like, what, six or seven months? That's a pretty short amount of time, but Phoenix might've forgotten about you since then. He's been focusing more on practicing law and going big. He is the Ace Attorney and greatest defense attorney in the world now, as you know.

But surprise, surprise—he's throwing a party on account of his latest not guilty verdict, sealing his victory once again.

You had obviously expected that, of course you did. but what you didn't expect was that out of all the people he invited, you were one of the special guests.
