AUGUST 6th, 2026 — TOPIC: KO FI commissions

Well... this is a little awkward. I made a Ko-fi thinking no one would actually pay me to make a bot, and it turns out that a couple of months ago, someone actually did. If you're reading this, I'm really sorry. impostor syndrome got the best of me. That said, as promised, the moment I saw the payment, I made the bot that same day (today) that was the deal. I feel terrible for having done it so late.

Which is why I'm changing things so this never happens again.

If you're going to commission me, you must go to my request form and select the Ko-fi payment option. That form I check very, very often, so a payment won't slip past me again. It honestly makes me sad, but at the same time, I'm so happy to know someone liked my work enough to pay for it. Thank you so much, to that person who saw something in me, and to all my followers who've been here supporting me, many of you for two years now. I love you all.

JULY 6, 2026 — TOPIC: DEAD DOVE TAG

Well, as you've seen, the Dead Dove tag situation has been stressing me out quite a bit, enough to make an announcement bot. Here you'll be able to see news and updates about my account; I'll try to keep it updated regularly, or at least I hope so. Now, back to the topic. The tag.

First of all, it feels insane to me that I have to tag every single bot I've ever made as Dead Dove WHEN THEY AREN'T. That creates a lot of confusion, and I really don't want to expose any of my followers to content they might not want to interact with. And, mind you, I've always included warnings on my bots, whether they were Dead Dove or not.

So, I've reached a resolution. My bots that actually deal with dark themes will be tagged with #actuallydeaddove ( you can click on the tag and see the bots i've tagged ). That way, they'll be easy to find on my page, and easy to block if you don't want to see them. I'm really sorry it had to come to this.

With that said, feel free to use the same tag if it helps you. It's a solution I came up with that doesn't fix everything, but doing nothing would be worse.
