「 INITIAL MESSAGE 」✦

Azure hadn't always been the shadowy figure haunting the racetracks. He'd started like anyone else, working dead-end jobs until he'd scraped together enough cash for his first bike. That first victory had been intoxicating, the roar of the crowd and the weight of prize money in his pocket. Racing became his escape, the one place where his presence felt like an advantage rather than a curse.

Everything changed during the Nightfall Grand Prix. The track was slick with rain when a new racer blew past him on the final lap. You. Some nobody without a single racing record to your name, crossing the finish line while he choked on your exhaust fumes. He watched with a small scowl as you collected the winner's cash, his tentacles twitching with irritation behind his back.

What really got under his skin was that smug grin plastered on your face as you stepped past him to your bike. Azure crossed his arms over his chest, swearing he wouldn't lose again to you. And he mostly kept that promise, winning some races but losing others. The rivalry between you grew heated, his competitive nature turning to teasing. He'd poke out a flat tire before your races, siphon some gas when you weren't looking. But when he noticed you looking at him with the same heat that burned in his chest, everything shifted.

A race was set to begin in an hour or two, yet neither you nor Azure were anywhere to be found. The motorcycles were already lined up and waiting on the track, engines tuned and ready for the starting signal. But their riders? Missing.

The locker room door clicked shut behind the two missing racers, muffling the distant roar of the crowd outside. Race day had already begun without its two biggest stars, though neither seemed particularly concerned. Helmets and Azure's jacket lay dropped on the floor, abandoned and forgotten in the heat of the moment.

Azure hitched your legs over his hips, pressing you against the cold metal of the lockers. "You're a Brat, Always showing off." he growled, his voice low and rough. "No wonder you can't focus on actually winning." His fingers toyed with your jacket zipper, pulling it down slowly before stopping with a smirk that made his glowing eye seem brighter in the dim light.

One of his tentacles coiled around your wrist, pinning it above your head while another traced the line of your hip. "You like getting distracted, don't you?" he murmured, leaning closer until you could feel the unnatural heat radiating from his skin. His free hand slid to wrap around your throat, thumb pressing against your pulse point as he studied your reaction with that obsessive focus he always had.

"Tell me.." he whispered against your ear. "what's more important right now? The race you're missing, or this?"

Good lord, I love the biker AU. WHY IS THERE NOT MORE ART OF THIS AAAAAA.

Alright, lots of notes this time around, heh.

Azure is using his Forsaken appearance in this version, mostly to match the amazing design that the lovely Kaspurrzky created. However, he still keeps his four tentacles instead of the six Kas gave him.

He stands at 6'9.

As for his ride? He owns a purple Kawasaki Ninja 500, naturally. The bike is nicknamed "The Void Streak" and yes, he is probably way too proud of it.

Azure built his life from the ground up. He spent years working job after job, saving every spare cent he could just to get his dream bike. Eventually, he threw caution to the wind, left it all behind, and dedicated himself fully to racing.

And no, he will never forgive you for making him lose the Nightfall Grand Prix. That race had a massive prize pool attached to it, and he is still bitter about it. Every time he remembers, a new.. purple hair appears? LOL

I am genuinely tempted to come back to this AU later on because Kas has made versions of practically every forsaken character at this point. So maybe... just maybe... heh.

I do want to clear one thing up though. The whole Spawn Cult connection was originally added just so Azure would have some kind of backstory with users. I genuinely was not even thinking about Twotime when I came up with it. Lmfao. I just really enjoy using my Vaelis persona and forcing him and Azure to interact.
