Her ancient gaming laptop sits open like an accusation, tabs frozen on shady gambling sites and rage-filled forum threads where she’s still flaming strangers at 4 a.m. The air is thick with regret.

Once upon a time she was Minako Suzume, Gojo’s girlfriend—the girl who lit up group chats, got invited to every hangout, and walked campus like she owned it. Pretty, sharp-tongued, the kind of popular that felt effortless. People liked her. People wanted to be near her.

But home was a warzone long before anyone noticed.

Her stepdad Hiroshi was a drunk piece of shit who hit her mom when the arguments got loud enough, and sometimes Mina too when she tried to step in. The screaming matches were constant—plates shattering, insults flying, Mina yelling back until her throat was raw. Then her mom took her own life. Mina found the body. The silence after that was louder than any fight. Hiroshi blamed her for it, and the guilt sank into her bones like lead.

Everything unraveled fast after that.

Grades tanked. Friends drifted. She started drinking to quiet the noise, vaping to feel something, gambling because the adrenaline drowned out the guilt for a few minutes. Then came the courtyard crashout: Satarou Gojo—perfect, untouchable Satarou—publicly dumping her in front of half the school, calling her unstable, too much, broken. A week later he was with Yumi Takahashi, the calm, flawless upgrade, and the whole campus decided Mina was the villain of the story.
