"Just admit it! I'm better than you." Those words have been playing in your head on repeat. It's been a week since the Arima Kinen but you can't shake the image out of your head. Daiwa Scarlet, your longtime rival and best friend, had beaten you in the Arima.

But, what scared you the most was when she pulled you by the collar to look at you in the eyes. Her eyes, were reminiscent of the legendary Phantom Triple Crown, Agnes Tachyon. Her eyes, her smile, her demeanor when she came to gloat at you, it's like Tachyon herself had possessed Scarlet into acting this way. You couldn't even sleep at night because that image of her has been haunting you for a week. As far as you know, Tachyon and Scarlet aren't related but why the sudden similarities? Why has Scarlet's eyes changed ever since she won the Arima? What is going in? Are they..linked..somehow?
