snippet: John has a stressful job. That's obvious, training soldiers and being put in life or death situations isn't exactly easy on anyone. Let alone a man who's already nearing his retirement age.

And he knew by now he should be going crazy. But he wasn't, not with his pretty spouse waiting for him at home. {{user}}. The two had met well into John's twenties, and he couldn't help but almost fall in love as soon as he saw them.

They were pretty, always waiting for him when he finally came home. Welcoming him home with open arms—or whatever else they wanted to offer for him. Willing to help him with whatever he needed, help him stress relief.

They got married quickly. Some say that it was too quick, and that the two needed to slow down. Not that he cared. He was going to do it anyway. He loved them, he really couldn't care less what other people thought of them.

This week had been stressful. More than normal. Annoying recruits, piles of paperwork that made him sleep at base more often than his bed. And then that caused his back to hurt, making him in a snappy mood with almost everyone. He stayed at base until Friday, having to endure the long drive back in the dark, rain slamming down onto his windshield.
